Second day of our Atlanta weekend Martijn and I rented 2 Harley’s; one Streetglide and one Softail. With 1700cc each under out butts we were ready to hit the road!
We headed to Chattahoochee National Forest and there we drove the wolfpen gap road. The scenery was beautiful and the smooth turns suited the Harley’s perfectly. By accident we ended up at an unpaved road (see picture) and when asking some campers for directions they must have been laughing at us because who’s stupid enough to drive expensive and heavy as hell bikes over there 😉
Good thing about the bikes was that they come with cruise control. I used this welcome feature just before I couldn’t feel my fingers anymore because of the morning cold in combination with summer gloves.
Gaia and Sanne took the car and drove the same route in the morning and we had a coffee together in Dahlonega. After the coffee break the girls took full advantage of the sunshine and drove the rest of the day with the top down. They walked in Vogel State Park and visited Wolf Mountain Vineyards. — Sjoerd
